All are welcome. No partner or experience necessary.

This event is suitable for singles, couples, first-timers, and experienced dancers. It is not appropriate for small children unless they are on the sidelines supervised by adults at all times. It is fine for older children and teenagers who are comfortable interacting with adults on their own. For more info call 503-327-6582.

The Portland Megaband performs in Portland, Oregon at the annual PCDC Portland Megaband Benefit Dance, and bi-annually at the Northwest Folklife Festival.

The all-volunteer musicians of the Megaband come from all levels of skill - from near beginner to professional. The Megaband welcomes applications from anyone playing an acoustic instrument who is willing to attend all the rehearsals and play with enthusiasm.

Proceeds of the Megaband Benefit Dance support scholarships for PCDC dancers and musicians.
